Lisa Booth, NAYA CFO

The Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA) is pleased to announce that Lisa Booth has been selected as its next Chief Financial Officer. Lisa is a strategic and mission-driven financial leader with extensive experience guiding organizations through growth, operational strengthening, and complex funding environments. She brings deep expertise in financial management, budgeting and forecasting, audit and compliance, and multi-department operational leadership. Lisa is known for developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration, and building systems that elevate transparency and decision-making across the organization.

Lisa joins NAYA after a 25-year career at the Alyeska Pipeline Service Company in Anchorage, Alaska, culminating as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. She worked across all functions of the finance division, including as General Audit Manager, Business and Strategic Planning Director, and Contracts and Strategic Sourcing Performance Manager. One of her most treasured roles was Director of the Alaska Native Utilization Agreement, where she advanced the company’s commitment to hiring and training Alaska Natives. She combines analytical rigor with empathetic people leadership, ensuring staff feel supported, informed, and empowered.

Lisa served on the Camp Fire Alaska Board of Directors and is deeply committed to supporting organizations that advance equity, community wellbeing, and meaningful impact. She relocated to Portland from Alaska last year with her daughter, Olivia. Lisa is Alaska Native (Tsimshian and Yupik) and grew up in Metlakatla, the only reservation in Alaska. She has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Colorado and an MBA in Management from the University of Alaska. Lisa and her daughter enjoy traveling, baking, and spending time with family in Portland, Anchorage, and Metlakatla.

The Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA) was founded as an urban Indian agency by parent and elder volunteers in 1974 and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1994. NAYA serves self-identified Native Americans, from infants to elders, across the Portland, Oregon, metropolitan area. Throughout its history, NAYA has sustained its diverse traditions while expanding and modernizing its programs and services to meet the needs of its people. Today, it impacts the lives of over 10,000 individuals from over 380 tribal backgrounds annually.
